Microsoft started launching the Mobile Anniversary Update for Windows 10 last week. But at that time the update was available for unlocked devices only and the carrier-locked devices were not able to get it. But recently, the Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update is also made available for carrier-locked mobile devices.
So if you, for instance, owe an AT&T-locked Windows Phone, you will likely be seeing the update notification soon, provided the ‘Automatic Updates’ is enabled. However, depending on your device model the update may appear anytime from now. Moreover, users can also manually check for updates by navigating to their phone’s ‘Settings Menu’.
