Google releases Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for Nexus

Google Inc., rolled out Nougat update for the devices belonging to the Nexus Series on 22nd of August. The devices getting the Android update include the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, as reported by Forbes, an American business magazine. The carrier-free and unlocked Nexus variants are receiving the Android 7.0 updates before others as the update is also available OTA (Over The Air).

According to some earlier reports, the latest Android OS version is likely to include options for improving Data Saving. With the new option the users will be able to set up halt and warning limits, so their mobile data allowances will be managed much easily. For some specific applications, unrestricted data access would be available. Moreover, for customers having limited data plans it will also restrain internet access to applications.

Google also released, earlier this year, the Android N Developer Preview to devices including Sony Xperia Z3, Google Pixel C and Google Nexus giving the users an opportunity to taste it.

Some reports reveal that Google shares its OS’s final code with some smartphones brands beforehand. In this regard, LG Electronics also rolled out Android 7.0 preview for Korean G5 series on 22nd of August. By this sharing of Google to other brands, the companies can add their self-created skins or themes on top before launching the Android latest updates to their smartphones.

On September 6, LG Electronics is going to launch its flagship device V20 with the Android Nougat. Moreover, a user at Reddit reports that from 14th September, the pre-orders for the company’s flagship device will be available to T-Mobile subscribers. And LG’s this upcoming device will be launched at the price of $650 on 23rd of September, this year.

The report also reveals that a bundle pack for early purchases will be included in the T-Mobile mobile carrier. It is also reported that the LG’s flagship device will feature a step-up Snapdragon 821 processor beside having other top level features. The new model is also to feature one another accessory, that is that people can select from an enhanced hand grip, memory module attachment or three Vudu rentals besides a free pass on Hulu for a complete one year.
